Professional experience in industry or an intellectual property law firm would be a plus. Perfect command of French and at least good command of English and German or Dutch is expected.

We require you to possess an analytical mind, to be flexible in contact with others, to have a natural aptitude for written and oral communication including setting up comprehensive reports. You enjoy working independently on technical subject matters as well as with legal texts. Capability of planning, organising and coping with deadlines as well as an eye for detail are necessary requirements.

As a Trainee Patent Attorney, you will work under the supervision of experienced patent attorneys. They will train you to become competent to defend our clients’ interests in all intellectual property related issues, to formulate advice on the patentability of inventions, to draft patent applications and to defend them before the relevant Patent Offices.

As a Junior Patent Attorney we anticipate you are competent to carry out in-depth analysis of our client’s needs, to formulate advice on the patentability of inventions, to supervise and/or prepare patent application drafts and to defend them before the relevant Patent Offices (including oral proceedings). Besides handling proceedings for our clients, you are expected to manage the client’s patent portfolio and to get involved in elaborating on his IP Strategy and FTO analysis.

For the senior Technical IP Expert we see it as an opportunity for both parties to interchange industrial and private practise experiences. The Technical IP Expert mainly supports the Patent Attorney in his prosecution work before the different Patent Offices. Knowledge of Patent documentation searches is an asset. Your technicality combined with a sense of responsibility and the will to learn, will benefit the R&D IP Strategy of the clients you deal with. We want you to be apt to withstand a demanding pace and to show flexibility.

You are supposed to team up with your colleagues to ensure the best of services for the client and to be able to see and capitalize on new business opportunities. Being active in interest groups or other business channels is an asset.

We will be delighted to offer you a permanent full time contract with an attractive remuneration package including extra-legal advantages. Please send your resume to:
